Phulpur, Mymensingh

Phulpur, located in the Mymensingh district, is a vibrant upazila known for its scenic beauty, agricultural landscape, and rich cultural heritage. Located 30 kilometers from the Mymensingh Sadar, the Phulpur area guide states that it was formed as a Thana in 1874 and then established as an upazila or subdistrict in 1983. Phulpur upazila is surrounded by Haluaghat and Dhobaura upazilas to the north, Tarakanda and Mymensingh Sadar upazilas to the south, and Gauripur and Netrokona’s Purbadhala upazila to the east, and Sherpur’s Nakla upazila to the west. This creates a diverse and well-connected locality.
