Cox's Bazar, Chattogram
Cox's Bazar is the world's longest uninterrupted sea beach, spanning more than 120 kilometers. The entire beach is a length of golden sandy sea beach that can be accessed by motorcycle. Between November and early March, the beach becomes quite popular. If you wish to escape the crowds of local and foreign tourists, the ideal time to visit is between April and September, preferably April and June.
Today, it is home to numerous five- and three-star hotels, including international chain hotels. There are several reasonably priced contemporary hotels, motels, and guest homes. The abundance of hotel options and restaurants available now make it an ideal location for exploring gorgeous beaches and other natural beauties in and around Cox's Bazar.
Communication was poor even a decade ago, but it is now extremely well connected by air and road to Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, and the port city of Chittagong. There are high-quality direct bus/coach services between Dhaka and Chittagong. Traveling by bus or coach allows you to discover Bangladesh's magnificent scenery.
And not only the sea beach, but the overall Cox’s Bazar district is going through a massive developmental phase. The commercial and residential places are much better now when compared to a decade ago. But there’s a lot more room left for further developments as well.
