Hossainiganj is one of the vastly growing suburban locations of the Rajshahi District. But where exactly is Hossainiganj located? If you check the Hossainiganj area guide, you will notice that it is not far from the Padma River or a popular tourist destination called Mini Cox’s Bazar, right across the neighborhood.

It is part of the Rajshahi City Corporation’s ward no. 09 and is under the jurisdiction of Boalipara-Rajpara Thana or Police Station. If you look at Google Maps, you will find that half of the area is filled with various residential and commercial buildings, while the other half shows vast fields with very few buildings. This makes the area's appearance pretty peculiar.

Despite being a small neighborhood, Hossainiganj is filled with some of the best landmarks and renowned locations. The most recognized historical landmark in the area is the Varendra Research Museum, which was established in 1910. Anyone who wants to take a glimpse of a remarkable historical journey and collections can visit the museum.

The road near the museum is known as Jadughor Mor, which is one of the important communication routes of Hossainiganj. Though bus travel is somewhat limited to a few areas, you can easily go around the area using cars, bikes, autorickshaws, and CNGs. If you need access to medicine and healthcare, the Rajshahi TB Hospital area has many drug stores or pharmacies that stay open 24/7.

Hossainiganj is a town area, which is why the economy of the people here depends on jobs, trades, and businesses. The Madrasa Road in the area is known for a historical madrasa, which is now known as the Haji Muhammad Mohsin Government High School. The madrasa area is quite big as it has a large field and an Eidgah near it. Near the area is the BGB areas of Rajshahi, where there are BGB schools, parks, mosques and more.

Though it is a partially populated area, Hossainiganj is comparatively peaceful. That is why it is now one of the sought-after areas for people who are looking for a residential place with access to necessary amenities.

Moreover, the area has many residents and messes for students with adequate and necessary facilities. Though there aren’t many educational institutions in the localities, people can access educational, healthcare, and financial institutions in the neighborhood localities.
