The market that is quite famous in Dhaka city, Chawkbazar is in Lalbag. This is like a business hub, from where people find each and every necessity of their daily lives. Again, the middlemen of trade collect materials from Chawkbazar and sell them in local bazaars and to final customers.

Overall, Lalbag is a place where people do live in a congested way, yet many of the modern facilities have been ensured to make the people live more peacefully.
